You will impact the digital experience of company employees and our customers, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and based out at our Louisa, KY location. You will be an essential part of our team that has been servicing customers and delivering fine foods since 1942.

In the Information Technology Specialist position, you will be responsible for supporting company-wide technology development, install, maintenance, and end user customer service. Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC, tablet and mobile device problems for end-users. Recommend and implement corrective solutions, as needed.
- Install personal computer hardware, equipment and applications, train and educate end users for efficient operation as necessary. End users include company employees and customers.
- Develop and maintain databases/spreadsheets of information on hardware, equipment and software/application deployment and assist with reports needed to locate, validate, fix, or otherwise manage physical inventories.
- Communicate and develop communication tools that reduce technology issues and allow for process improvements with technology solutions deployed or provided by the company.
- Provide clear communications and accurate documentation of work efforts that proactively improve the work environment and organizational efficiencies.
- Utilize ticketing application to diagnose, prioritize, provide communication for, track, and close out problems and tasks created by the organization.
- Install, maintain, and provide training for office, warehouse, and delivery vehicle networks.
- Support ad-hoc IT equipment and software procurement by investigating requirements, researching and recommending vendor options, and communicating with vendors and internal customers.
- Assist in developing tools, reporting, applications, and procedures to empower end users and support company initiatives.
- Perform computer operations, networking, programming and report writing duties as needed to support company and department operations.
- Keep updated of changes to systems, applications, hardware, and general technology by attending classes, seminars, and conducting self-study.
- Travel to meet with field employees and customers to support company technology installations and trouble end user technology issues.
- Support new hire orientation and onboarding requirements.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Associate’s Degree or Vocational Training/Certification in Computer Science, IT or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years relevant career experience preferred.
- Experience with data system or ERP management, networking, analytics, and/or application development strongly preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Zendesk applications desired.
- Possesses excellent English language communication skills, both written and spoken and has the ability to effectively collaborate with end-users and all other personnel while performing their job functions.
- Possesses the ability to exercise good judgment and decisions using moderate reasoning ability.

- Possesses the ability to research complex problems and formulate appropriate action plans.

- Willingness to work odd or irregular hours on occasion, both planned and unplanned, in order to perform maintenance, respond to incidents, or investigate and resolve unplanned system or service outages.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle driving history that meets Company guidelines.
- Ability to conduct moderate physical work including frequent lifting of objects or exerting force up to 40 pounds, infrequent lifting of objects or exerting force over 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, drive for long periods of time, reach, bend, squat, and stoop to accomplish the essential job functions.
